Objective: GFWC wants to educate members and others about the importance of active citizenship, and encourage participants in related activities in their "Citizenship in Action Program." They want to educate members and others about community, home, and vehicle safety issues, and encourage citizen action on these issues in their "Focus on Community Safety Program."

Sending school packs to soldiers in Iraq to distribute to children there, Operation Iraqi Children Sending items on a platoon in Iraq's wish list for the holidays Donating teddy bears for Taunton's Emergency Management Agency to be distributed to children with family emergencies At Christmas members wrote and mailed cards to Holiday Mail for Heroes. The cards were given to veterans and soldiers around the world.
